From her start at NAFA’s School of Young Talents as well as her current progress at The Purcell School, this show tracks Janell’s development as an upcoming violinist and aims to give viewers a better understanding of Janell Yeo’s personality, her inspirations and her motivations.

GENERATION NEXT V
9PM - 9:30PM (BEGINS 12 AUG)

Each episode features a profile in the particular field, going in depth to gain valuable insight into each individual profile – what makes him so different from other young Singaporeans, what motivates him to overcome obstacles and challenges to achieve his goals, what big changes did he made to our community, and the help he has received from various supporting organizations to help him attain his goals. Through these individuals, like-minded Singaporeans can also find out information on the different avenues that support the various causes.

FREQUENCY OF THE CITY: CAMPUS EDITION
9:30PM - 10PM

In this season, students aged 17 to 23 from Polytechnics, Universities and other educational institutions hop on the Frequency of the City bandwagon to collect sounds and sample beats in an attempt to create distinctive music tracks based on the theme, Singapore, Global City.
 
Seven teams of two participants each from different schools, compete with other hopefuls in a competition that will ultimately see the winning team creating an original music track with two local musicians of their choice.

If our students are aspiring musicians that have always wanted to work with their idols and have their works showcased, this is their chance.

SPORT SCIENCE (WITH CHINESE SUBTITLES)

They are the age-old questions of international athletics – What is the hardest thing to do in sports - hit a cricket ball… nail a bicycle kick into the corner of the goal? Or take a Formula One turn at 300 kph?

These are the endless debates and bar bets with our mates - can a rugby player really hit like a car crash? Can Beckham really “bend it”? Is it all in the training, or are some people just “born” better athletes? And which sport creates the fastest, the strongest and the fittest athletes of all? In an unprecedented gathering of athletes, scientists, motion-capture animators and high-definition technology, Sport Science will give you the answers by blowing the lid off of the mysteries of sport, debunking age-old myths and revealing that in the world of sports, boxing isn't the only "sweet science".

Nearly all of sport is a science… and it’s all been secret, or unknown, or impossible to measure. Until now. This is Sport Science - the ultimate exhibition of speed, power, endurance, technique and training.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (SR 1)

After engaging in a losing battle against the Cylons, humanity’s last remnants fled in search of a new home, a mythical planet called Earth.
