B-Boyz & Ballerina
27 - 29 June 2008
Esplanade Theatre

Pulsate to the energetic and high-octane performance by B-Boys Theatre, one of Korea’s world renowned leading new wave hip-hop dance theatre. Formerly known as ‘The Ballerina who loves a B-boy’ and now renamed, ‘B-Boyz & Ballerina’, the performance shows how a ballerina assimilates to street dancing after she falls in love with a b-boy.

Feel the exuberance of the energetic 19 b-boys and b-girls and cheer them on in their frenzied, skilful freestyling displays of hip-hopping and break-dancing. Join in this hyper rousing dance fiesta where you will be spell-bound by the Technicolour street fashions, joyous soundtrack and the gravity-defying floor routines of windmills, L-kicks and more.

Hi! I'm an avid viewer of animania on arts central and I think its a really good thing that now animania has so many different animes showing at the same time. Although it means that we finish an anime series at a much slower pace, we get to enjoy more types of anime so we won't get stuck with the same few anime all the time...
- Chang Zhi Ping, 18

My heartfelt thanks for bringing in the long-awaited and critically acclaimed Battlestar Galactica. I've loved this show since I first bought the DVDs and can only hope that more viewers will tune in to watch this remarkable series.
- Suhaila, 24

Arts Central has been my great friend almost every night. Arts Central provides all the excellent programes. So I thank you so much for bringing all the good shows to us. I would be glad if the popular anime series in Japan, Vampire Knight, would be shown in Arts Centrral. Other animes are really good too like D.Grayman.
- Farahdillah Bte Abdullah, 18

I'm elated to lately discover that there's something that I'd like to watch almost every night e.g. Live from Abbey Road, Front, Blue Planet, Globetrekker, Singapore Short Story Project and FilmArt.

Please keep acquiring more programmes like these. Thank you.
- Kelly, 28
